Do I have to bring my own towels and bedding?
The surf house, surf finca and all the apartments are equipped with small towels and bedding.
Where can I pick up the keys to my accommodation?
Keys can be picked up at the surf house, Calle mirador de castilnovo 47-45.
Give us a call or send a Whatsapp message to +34 666903104 and let us know that your flight came in on time. Key pick up can be arranged at the same time.
Where can I find a bank/an ATM?
There are about 10 ATM in and around the town of Conil which are within walking distance (5-10 min)
Where can I connect to Wi-Fi?
We offer fast and free Wi-Fi at the surf house and the surf finca. Many bars and cafés in Conil also offer free Wi-Fi.
What’s the weather like?
Summer: During the day around 25-30° C, at night around 20-25° C
Spring/Autumn: During the day around 20-25° C, at night around 16-20° C
Winter: During the day around 17-20° C, at night around 10-16° C
Do I need any special vaccinations? What if I need medical attention?
Aside from the regular preventative vaccines that are standard in Europe, you don’t need any other additional ones. Conil has a very good medical centre and pharmacies nearby. Treatments and medication must be paid for in cash. Please remember to keep all receipts when receiving your treatment/medication, so you can be reimbursed by your insurance policy later. It is always advisable and important to have sufficient health insurance coverage while traveling.
How are the surf conditions?
We have excellent conditions for beginners year round. The lack of reefs, rocks and dangerous currents makes the surf spots around Conil by far the best in all of Andalucía. Our surf academy has even been granted its own stretch of the beach by the town of Conil, which means that all year round, our surf spot will never be too crowded.
Advanced and green wave surfers will have the best time during spring, autumn and winter, since the waves tend to be slightly bigger.
Where are the best parties, pubs and clubs?
Some of the nicest bars, clubs and parties are within walking distance from the surf house and the apartments (about 10 min)
Where can I go shopping for groceries?
Conil has many easily reachable big supermarkets. Even ALDI and a Burger King are close by.
